The album title draws inspiration from a phrase Zimmerman’s father often told him growing up: “Same shit, different day.” Different Night Same Rodeo follows the smash success of Zimmerman’s debut album Religiously. The Album. which had not only the biggest streaming debut for a country album in history, but the biggest all-genre streaming debut since 2021.
