Trisha Yearwood Releases Highly Anticipated New Album, The Mirror

The Mirror, the powerful and deeply personal new album from country music icon Trisha Yearwood, is available now via Virgin Music Group and Gwendolyn Records. Celebrated for her unmatched vocals and storytelling, Yearwood reaches an entirely new creative peak with this release—her sixteenth studio album and the first to feature her as a co-writer on every track.

Co-produced by Yearwood and two-time GRAMMY® winner Chad CarlsonThe Mirror captures the sound of an artist in full command of her voice, vulnerability, and vision. Across its 15 tracks, the album explores themes of resilience, identity, forgiveness, and feminine strength—rooted in a radiant, soulful country sound that amplifies the power of Yearwood’s most unfiltered songwriting to date.

“When I was 19 years old someone told me I wasn’t a songwriter, and I let that be the truth for a very long time,” says Yearwood. “But at some point in the past few years, something shifted and I started writing and then just never stopped. You’d think that after all this time I’d have nothing new to share, but now I feel like I’m on a whole new adventure.”

From the soaring anthem Girls Night In to The Record Plays On featuring Charles Kelley and the powerful title track The Mirror, the album solidifies Yearwood’s place not only as one of country’s most enduring voices, but also as an expressive, fearless songwriter stepping into a new era.

To celebrate the release, Yearwood will connect with fans nationwide through a series of unforgettable events and performances. Yearwood kicked off release day with a live performance on the TODAY Plaza at Rockefeller Center, as part of the TODAY’s 2025 Citi Concert Series, delivering three new songs from The Mirror along with her iconic hit “She’s in Love with the Boy.”

The longtime Grand Ole Opry member will take the Opry stage in Nashville on July 19, where she’ll be joined by Charles Kelley for the live debut of “The Record Plays On.”

On July 20, Yearwood takes over Lower Broadway in Nashville for a very special fan celebration in the heart of the city’s Neon Neighborhood, between 4th and 5th Avenue. The free event includes an in-person album signing and the chance for fans to meet Yearwood as she continues to celebrate the release of The Mirror. That day, she’ll also go live from Trisha’s Kitchen on TikTok at 12:30 PM CT for an exclusive album release event. Fans can join HERE.

Later, on July 22, she headlines the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s Trisha Yearwood and Friends Celebrate Linda Ronstadt and Los Angeles Country-Rock, a special evening featuring performances by Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Patti Scialfa, and James Taylor.
