Next time you’re at Charlotte Douglas International Airport looking for a bite to eat, there’s a new restaurant you can try.
Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Sammy’s Beach Bar & Grill this past Tuesday afternoon.
Sammy’s menu offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner — including ‘Start Me Up’ appetizers, like Baja quesadillas and beach nachos; ‘Sam Wiches,’ like tacos, burgers, and barbeque brisket; and a variety of entrées.
Hagar says net proceeds from the restaurant will go towards the Levine Children’s Hospital and Hope Street Food Pantry.
The restaurant is one of five locations in the U.S. — with two in Hawaii, one in Cleveland, Ohio, and another in Las Vegas.
