USF Football’s Reggie Johnson Named a 2025 McLendon Scholar

USF football linebacker and Tampa native Reggie Johnson II (Carrollwood Day HS) has been named by the McLendon Foundation among its 25th class of McLendon Scholars.

Johnson, who played three seasons for the Bulls and earned his undergraduate degree in business management last fall, was on off 11 student-athletes nationwide to earn a postgraduate scholarship from the Foundation, which is dedicated to developing the next generation of sports leaders. He is enrolled in the USF Muma College of Business Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management program.

As of the 2025-26 academic year, the McLendon Foundation has awarded over 150 scholarships, providing more than $1.75 million in financial support. This milestone reflects the Foundation’s steadfast commitment to empowering talent in sports and ensuring access to advanced educational opportunities.
