The Florida Orchestra’s Sing Out Tampa Bay Comes To Historic Coliseum, May 14

The Florida Orchestra’s popular Sing Out Tampa Bay concert returns next Wednesday, May 14, 2025, with a new venue, the historic Coliseum in St. Petersburg. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to belt out your favorite tunes, this is your opportunity to sing along with Music Director Michael Francis and TFO for an uplifting community concert. Admission is pay what you can at the door, general admission.

TFO is excited to present this community sing-along concert in a historic community landmark such as The Coliseum, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The concert includes familiar favorites from Broadway, film, symphonic and popular repertoire including Over the Rainbow, selections from Wicked, Ode to Joy from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and more. For full program, click here.

The concert includes an onstage community chorus of about 200 singers selected in advance. They have been rehearsing for several weeks with local guest artists and directors, including a rehearsal with the full orchestra and Maestro Francis. This year’s Sing Out event will feature two local choir groups hailing from Howard W. Blake High School of the Arts and the Arts Conservatory for Teens.
