In typical Grateful Dead fashion, Grateful Dead have compiled 60 hours’ worth of live albums to celebrate their 60th anniversary with a 60xCD box set. Out May 30, Enjoying the Ride comprises recordings of sets played between 1969 and 1994, including at Winterland Ballroom and Madison Square Garden; “virtually” all of the music is previously unreleased, according to a press release. Among the 20 shows, amounting to some 450 songs, are 17 concerts presented in full. An abridged version, The Music Never Stopped, compiles at least one song from each venue across three CDs or six LPs. That’s out via Rhino on May 30. Find three newly released live songs below.
