Harry Styles Plots Fall World Tour

Harry Styles announced he will go on a world tour at the end of the year. The trek begins with a 13-date North American theater leg, which kicks off September 19th in San Francisco and wraps October 14th in Phoenix, Arizona. A European leg begins October 25th in Paris, and the entire jaunt concludes December 8th with the second of two shows in Tokyo.

All tickets, excluding Japan, go on sale Friday, May 5th.

Styles will release self-titled debut solo LP on Friday, May 12th. The 10-track album, executive produced by pop hit-maker Jeff Bhasker, includes lead single "Sign of the Times." The singer will perform May 9th on NBC's Today Show Summer Concert Series, followed by a week-long residency, May 15th through the 18th, on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

The former One Direction star recorded most of the album with a core group of musicians – including co-producers Alex Salibian and Tyler Johnson – at Bhasker's Beachwood Canyon studio. In an in-depth cover story about solo departure, Styles told Rolling Stone he's "nervous," but finding the right players gave him more confidence.

"I mean, I've never done this before," he said. "I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I'm happy I found this band and these musicians, where you can be vulnerable enough to put yourself out there. I'm still learning ...  but it's my favorite lesson."
